Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Real Madrid vs Sevilla: UEFA Super Cup 2016 as it happened
Real Madrid round-up: Ramos, Zidane, Super Cup...
Asensio, Sergio Ramos and Carvajal found the net for Madrid who lift the trophy for the third time after beating Sevilla 3-2 after extra-time.
So Real Madrid collect their second piece of silverware in the Zidane era and the Frenchman joins Simeone, Guardiola, Ancelotti and Luis Enrique to have won the UEFA Super Cup as a player and a coach, having won in 2002 when Madrid beat Feyenoord in Monaco. Sevilla meanwhile miss out for the fourth time - having lost to Madrid in 2014, to AC Milan in 2007 and Barcelona - also after extra-time in 2015.
120+1 | That\'s it. Real Madrid lift the European Super Cup - the third time they have won it. Congratulations!
118 | Goooaal!!! Spoke too soon. Dani Carvajal comes storming into the box and finishes past Rico with the outside of his boot!! Lovely finish! 3-2
118 | Two minutes to go and it\'s \'starting to smell\' of penalties, as they say in football circles...
116 | Kiyotake swings at the ball and almost takes a chunk out of Modric. No contact made, no penalty, says the ref.
115 | Uyy!! James with a first-time volley but it\'s straight at the keeper. Connected with it well though.
112 | Both teams starting to tire now, understandably
110 | Blimey!! Lucas Vázquez clean through but his poked shot is half-blocked by the outcoming Rico, takes a deflection then is cleared off the line!
107 | Uyy!! James goes close this time, but the ball\'s nodded safely into the keeper\'s arms.
105 | And off we go again... Please, divine sentinels in football heaven - please, no penalties...
105 | That\'s the first half of Extra-time over. Kolo\'s sending off has had an effect on the run of play. Madrid pretty much in control with another 15 minutes left to play.
103 | Sevilla are trying to get forward but can\'t leave themselves exposed at the back. They do manage to win a corner...
98 | Uff! And Ramos, with the lowest diving header in football history, has the ball over the line - but the flag\'s up, won\'t count.
95 | Modric cracks a half-volley from the \'D\' but it\'s rising and sails over. Madrid pressing hard now.
93 | Red card. Kolo sent off for coming in late on Lucas. Sevilla on 10
91 | Madrid look like they want to get this over quickly, Benzema gets a shot in straight from the restart but just slips as he makes contact with the ball.
90+4 | It ends Real Madrid 2-2 Sevilla on the whistle. 30 minutes of stoppage time awaits.
90+3 | Gooaal!! Ramos nods Madrid back level... was that spookily 93:48 or very close to it. It\'s 2-2!!
88 | Marcelo curls a raking cross into the area but Sergio Rico comes tearing off his line to collect.
88 | Two minutes of regulation time to play and Sevilla can sense victory.
86 | Asensio follows Carvajal into the book, it seems everyone wants to stick the boot in on Vitolo.
84 | First booking of the game - Carvajal is shown a yellow for kicking Vitolo\'s shins in a Sevilla counter.
82 | Sevilla\'s keeper was forced to sprint out of his own area to clear as Madrid surge. Zidane\'s side have gone up a couple of gears in these last two minutes and have Sevilla up against the ropes.
80 | Uff!! Carvajal charges into the box and blasts from close range, blocked by Sergio Rico who had his near post covered.
73 | Substitution: Iborra ambles off, Nico Pareja takes the captains armband and on races Kranevitter.
71 | Substitution: James replaces Kovacic who looks like he has taken a knock.
71 | Goooaal!!! Konoplyanka coolly slots from 11 yards, Casilla flung in the opposite direction
69 | Penalty to Sevilla, Ramos clipped Vitolo who goes down and the Madrid captain screams a few choice words at the No.20.
63 | Uff! Ramos rises to meet a corner but his header is saved by Sergio Rico. Looked like he may have been \'climbing\' in any case.
61 | Substitution: Benzema gets his first minutes of the summer. On for Morata.
58 | N’Zonzi and Kiyotake get in each others\' way as Sevilla break forward. Both teams looking more energetic after the interval.
55 | Uyyy!! Isco, with a drop of the shoulder and a neat backheel, loses his marker and fires low just past the post - would have been one to match Asensio\'s had it entered.
53 | Lucas Vázquez nips in another ball from the right but it\'s backheeled clear by Nico Pareja just as Morata came sprinting into the box.
51 | Corner to Real Madrid. Asensio takes, ball is cleared.
48 | First attempt of the second half - Lucas Vázquez cutting in from the right but hoofs his shot well over.
45 | Serbian ref Mr Mazic gets us back underway in Trondhiem where it\'s all level - 1-1.
45+1 | Half-time. All square on the whistle. Stunning strike from Asensio put Madrid in the driving seat but if there is one team you can never rule out, it\'s Sevilla. Sampaoli\'s team lack cohesion but looked dangerous when they have found a way through. Madrid have looked their best when attacking on the break; at times they have been a little over-hasty, particularly when trying to surprise Sevilla with quickly-taken free-kicks. Overall a fair scoreboard at the midway point.
43 | Uff!! Lucas Vázquez takes the ball right to the by-line before whipping one in for Isco, whose header is straight at the keeper.
41 | Goooaal!! Sevilla pull level. Vitolo chests down in the box but the ball lands for Franco Vázquez to volley inside the post. 1-1
37 | Free-kick to Real Madrid - again taken quickly, and again, wasted.
30 | Madrid suffering now a little at the back, Sevilla stepping it up now.
29 | Uyy!! Carriço thumps a low, swerving pildriver from outside the box. Casilla did well to get down and punch the ball behind for a corner.
28 | Asensio released in another quickfire Madrid counter but he\'s crowded out by three Sevilla defenders and Carriço clears.
26 | Franco Vázquez crosses to Mariano but the Sevilla full-back, completely unmarked, volleys over.
25 | Overstruck once again by Isco, ball goes out for a goal kick.
25 | Free-kick to Madrid 30 yards out, Isco\'s over it.
21 | Gooaaal!!! What a strike!!! Marco Asensio has just curled one into the top corner from 30 yards out. What a beauty, you can\'t really open your Real Madrid account in a better way than thatl! 1-0.
16 | Asensio plays a low ball across the face of goal but there\'s no one there to meet it (Lucas Vázquez arrived just a whisker too late). The ball remains in play.
Sevilla now have Madrid retreating back into their own half but Sampaoli\'s side lack a bit of rhythm to their game still... to be expected at this stage of the summer.
8 | Asensio unleashes a low drive from just outside the box, smothered by Sergio Rico.
7 | Uyy!! Ramos meets the corner and his header is cleared over the bar. Close...
7 | Corner to Real Madrid, who have been looking the liveliest so far.
4 | Iborra is down and obviously in a lot of pain. He appears to have hurt his right knee in a challenge with Isco. Alarm over - he\'s back up and running now.
3 | Isco\'s free-kick curled into the Sevilla penalty area but misses everyone in the box.
2 | Morata hauled down by Iborra. Free-kick to Madrid.
White Stripes\' \'Seven Nation Army\' blasting through the stadium PA and dance routine to get everyone into the mood.
Quite heavy rainfall in Trondheim running up to the match and the pitch is looking quite slippy. Wonder how that will affect both coaches\' gameplans. Still, the fans don\'t seem to mind - around 17,000 of the 19,000 spectators at the Lerkendal are native Norwegians, they\'re more than used to a spot of rain.
Real Madrid XI: Casilla; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kovacić, Lucas Vázquez, Isco, Asensio, Morata.
Subs: Yáñez, Nacho, Benzema, James, Modrić, Danilo, Marcos Llorente.
Sevilla XI: Sergio Rico; Mariano, Pareja, Carriço, Escudero; Kolo; Iborra, N’Zonzi; Vitolo, Kiyotake, Vietto.
Hello and welcome to match build-up and live online coverage of Real Madrid v Sevilla in the European Super Cup final (as the Champions League winners take on the victors of the Europa League). The game kicks off at 20.45 (CET) and takes place at Lerkendal Stadion in Trodenheim, Norway.
The Champions League winners go into the all-Spanish tie with a few absentees and without having made their usual headline-grabbing summer signing. The ‘BBC’ is the most glaring absence, with Cristiano Ronaldo still suffering from an injury sustained in the Euro 2016 final and Bale having only just returned from his holidays after having been given an extended break. Benzema, meanwhile, is still struggling with a back problem and also sits out. Real Madrid’s attack line will instead be led by returnee, Álvaro Morata.
New project, new faces and new excitement are the major factors for Sevilla as they arrive in Norway for this final. The Andalusian outfit has had to rebuild (once again) after selling its most talented players and restocking personnel across all lines of the squad. Sampaoli, who’s also a new arrival, has the difficult task of following previous coach Unai Emery who left for PSG after winning various European titles with the club. Signings such as Vietto, Kranevitter,Mercado, Ganso and Ben Yedder should help fans forget the departures of Gameiro, Banega, Krychowiak and co.
