Bordeaux’s star midfield man, Yoann Gourcuff, will wait until the end of the current season to decide where his future lies, be it in France, Milan or elsewhere.



Yoann Gourcuff was always recognised as a prodigious young talent in France but it was not until August, when he had settled into life at Girondins de Bordeaux following his loan move from AC Milan, the spectators realised just how good he could be. Domineering performances in the centre of les Girondins’ midfield won him widespread acclaim and a berth in the French international set-up.
