What Ian said in his interview isn’t anything new, but it’s just nice to have the confirmation that no—we’re not crazy—and yes, things DID change after season 2 (were Bamon was basically at the height of it’s everything) because the CW basically didn’t want attention taken off the triangle or anything nice given to Kat Graham.

It’s nice to see how well that worked out for them, considering TVD’s rating are in the f***ing toilet.

Just re-watching Angel on tv, and seriously, there's more value, poetry in the written word and intelligent story-telling in the first five minutes, than has been seen in tvds last four seasons. Ever. They kill off Fred, but give her a sl that has those around her caring, and protecting her and she repays it tenfold.
In tvd, they kill of Bonnie a thousand times, and she learns nothing but to throw herself up onto the pyre YET AGAIN. The balance is lacking abhorrently so.
